Small Development Roundtable
The political, design, economic, and social impacts of large infill development are increasingly being felt in Boston and cities across the country. Yet, even as historic neighborhoods of small mixed-use and multifamily buildings soar in value, very little new development is taking this smaller, more incremental, more diverse form. How can we unlock small-scale development in Boston and New England? Join developers, planners, architects, activists, entrepreneurs and others for a series of discussions on rejuvenating the practice of incremental development. The roundtable sessions will be hosted the second Thursday of each month at RE|Work coworking space in Boston's Back Bay from 6 to 8pm.
Pre-registration is required for building security purposes. Please enter the names of attendees for each ticket purchase. Admission fee supports food and beer. Capacity is limited, so register now -- we look forward to your participation! Register HERE.
“Small Development in Southbridge” with Hunter Foote
Hunter FooteHunter Foote is a real estate investor from Central MA. Following graduation from the Isenberg School of Management with a degree focused in real estate and finance, Hunter opted a less traditional employment route and founded Bellus Real Estate. Bellus is a real estate development and property management company focused on residential and commercial real estate in Central MA and lending to other investors.
Bellus has grown steadily from founding in 2012 (with one duplex), to over 25 projects completed and 18 retained in the portfolio. Hunter has worked tirelessly to create a successful organization and team, and lead them to create wealth and solve problems in our community by turning distressed, mismanaged properties into functioning, desirable homes, apartments, offices, and storefronts.
He looks forward to presenting his experiences and meeting other active or aspiring real estate developers and entrepreneurs.
