Join David Clem, Managing Partner of Lyme Properties, an adaptive reuse developer in Hanover, New Hampshire, as he offers suggestions on how to get around onerous local regulations. Using his extensive experience negotiating regulatory processes across New England, Mr. Clem will lead a small group discussion on skills and strategies to overcome regulatory barriers.
Mr. Clem has led an eclectic life in urban development that began when he left his PhD studies at MIT to become a Cambridge City Councillor. Impatient with the status quo, he then founded his own development company and got to work. Not just another developer talking strategies for sustainable development, Mr. Clem is well-known for his refusal to take no for an answer.
